Arson State Trooper  State Troopers were forced to close I-65 near Perdido because of heavy smoke from three wildfires set by an arsonist.

State Troopers have reopened I-65 near Perdido. It was closed because of heavy smoke from three wildfires set by an arsonist.

Ok, wkrg, you said previously there was a “crew on the way to the scene”, but as of yet, 11:54pm 3-20-09, there is no update on your site. I have traveled from Mobile thru that area and it only takes me 45 minutes to get all the way to Atmore, the area that was burning is at mile marker 45, Atmore is at mile marker 57, so where is your “updated report”?? I expected you to have much more info, and video if you “actually” sent a crew to the area.
