PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Country music star Doug Stonefaces domestic battery charges following an altercation with his
son at a Panama City Beach resort.
Maj. David Humphreys of the Panama City Beach Police Department
says officers charged Stone after they were called to a condominium
Thursday to break up a fight between the 52-year-old Stone and his
21-year-old son. Humphreys says the son's face was bloody and that
Stone had him on the ground in a chinlock when officers arrived.
Stone had numerous country hits the 1990s including - "I'd be
Better Off in a Pine Box," "In a Different Light" and "Why
Didn't I Think of That."
