MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - For the third time, a state Senate
committee is supporting a moratorium on executions in Alabama.
The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 6-1 Wednesday for a bill by
Democratic Sen. Hank Sanders of Selma that would institute a
three-year moratorium. During the moratorium, the state would make
sure the death penalty is being administered fairly and
impartially.
Sanders' bill now goes to the Senate, where he has had similar
legislation fail in 2005 and 2006. Senate President Pro Tem Rodger
Smitherman of Birmingham rates this year's bill as a toss-up.

You can also just type in Artur Davis voting record,it will give you many sites to check him out.

wish there was a webb site so you could see who in office or is runnung for office stands on these kind of thing. i saw one called roll call vote. showed the house voting log. what they say they will do is not always the same. Davis is running for gov. what’s his stand on this???

Suspend it! We should increase the use of it.Included should be Rapists,Child Molesters. This guarantee’s us that they will never have the chance to be a repeat offender and destroy some one else’s life.

Suspend the Death Penalty.NO WAY. The left wing Liberals would love to see that happen. Then the Good people of Alabama would have to Keep them for the rest of their lives at a tremendous cost,to feed clothe, medicle etc. Those who live by the sword shall die by the sword.

Just like females hardly ever get the death penalty, though they are far more likely to commit a violent crime like rape.

Where did you find this information? I believe it’s false!

There is one supreme being who has the ultimate authority to take life.

While I believe everyone should have the ability to an opinion, some should really keep it to themselves.  2b your views about crime, especially rape are really disturbing. I hope that you never have to experience it or never have to comfort a family member of friend that has gone through it. I truly believe the experience would help to sway your stance.

I believe the State should execute any rapist or child molestor if they commit the act twice. as far as rape, if it involes robbery and other crimes they should be executed too. Same with the pedophiles, a child under 15 years old gets molested, EXECUTE the molestor. Murder, absolutely! DUI offenders that kill innocent motorist-EXECUTE them. Shoplifters… maybe.lol Judge that uses his position as a Judge for sex EXECUTE TWICE, to be on the safe side.

2b, yes, it is true I did PM you to talk religion. I don’t believe or hope that was not stalking, nor did I STALK henry. I tried also, to talk religion to him. PERIOD.
Thanks, ickthus
