Mobile police need your help to find a shoplifting suspect captured on video at the Rite Aid on South Ann Street.

The suspect walked into the store Friday afternoon, stuck several items in his pocket and tried to leave without paying for them.

The store manager grabbed the suspect, trying to stop him from leaving, but the suspect fought off the manager before running out of the store.

If you recognize him or know where to find him, please call the Mobile Police Department at 251.208.7211.

Ha. I’m sorry, but $9 an hour isn’t enough to fight a non-threatening robber.

But Boondock is correct, don’t listen to me…play hero and save some stolen stuff that’s not even yours! We need a gene pool cleansing anyway.

People, dont listen to KxVicious.  You will be a victim your entire life with that mentality.  People get shot and or stabbed all the time in robberies and the victims were compliant.  Fight back!  Get a pistol permit and carry a loaded gun. You have the right to protect yourself and your family.  Criminals are desperate people and will stop at nothing to get what they want, shoot their sorry ##ses and you wont become one of Mobile’s statistics.  That guy that just robbed you will make bail and will rob another to pay off his previous bail and fines.  It’s a cycle that the criminal element has perfected until they sre stopped permanetly, either by killing someone or getting killed themselves.

she should have hooked a brother up! don’t taze me bro!  bust a 50,000vt cap in his back side.

That manager is lucky s/he didn’t get shot, stabbed, or terribly injured!

The store is insured and everything is replaceable except your life! Never fight someone in a robbery! It’s easier to replace a few hundred dollars of merchandise than it is to bury one manager and hire a new one.
