Shooting Victims Neighbors remember family forever changed by tragedy.

Phone service salesman Stephen Martin says putting up flowers and a sign was the least he could do for his former customers. He works at a store just two doors down from the scene of
Thursday's shooting. Martin says the victim's husbands were brothers. The two couples lived in the house with their three children.

“I mean, obviously the proximity is one thing I guess that causes a certain amount of but it's also the lives, the young people,” says Martin. He says he’s sad to see what happened.

“We saw them two days ago, the wives the children, everyone, and now, knowing you'll never see those kinds of people again it's moving you know,” says Martin. Neighbors say what happened on Thursday is extremely out of the ordinary and makes some concerned for their safety.

“Just be scared because you don't know what might happen to you,” says a woman who asked us not to show her name or face. She says it's a disturbing crime that hurts the neighborhood.

“It just makes you want to bring tears to your eyes I don't care who it is it's just upsetting,” says the woman. Another neighbor told me it was very hard to sleep last night. The employer of the victim's husbands has set up a fund for the family. You can donate under the names Jose and Alan Barajas at any Hancock Bank.

I’m sorry if anyone was offended by my opinions here but I have just been following all this drug related killings and things and when I heard about this I just thought for sure that it had to be related Sorry and it was all just opinions.

Don’t know what kind of monsters could have done this but can bet they were probably teenagers…and am sure their families will say how great they were before they committed these crimes. Now, these babies don;t have mothers. Why not just take what you went for an not have to hurt people? Tell you what though…if you try to rob me, I will take care of you swiftly cause even if you give the thugs money, car, jewelry…anything of value, they will kill you anyway so try to get the jump on them first.

yesterday i posted my comments on this. as details come forth i realizei made a terrible mistake. i talked to day with a relative of one of the husbands. afterwards i realized i had made a terrible rush to judgement in my ealier remarks. i talked with neighbor and found that they folks were good folks, minded their business and loved their kids. so to any one that was offened by my remarks, please for give me. no matter where u have worked, you should reserve comment till facts are known. at this time, i hope everyone will send up a special prayer for these ladies families.
