Sewage Spill In Gulf Shores

Alabama Gulf Shores  Sewage makes its way into Little Lagoon after spill..

According to a report received by the Baldwin County Health Department on July 7, 2008, a sewer spill occurred on July 4, 2008 at 7:00 pm. The report stated that approximately 4000 gallons was spilled and contained in a parking lot. An estimated 200
gallons of sewage went into a storm drain which may have been discharged into the Little
Lagoon. The health department urges residents to exercise caution if using Little Lagoon
for recreational purposes. Also, thoroughly cook any fish or seafood caught near by and
wash hands after handling fish or seafood.

Oh,another sewage spill? Who was responsible for this one? You did not say. The County needs to take over this sewer problem, look out Gulf Shores you might end up like Lillian. You will not be able to put your big toe in the water. Wake up people, don’t think this is a isolated incident, everytime it rains you should see the crews out trying to plug there holes,there is a problem and it’s getting worse. Straight injections into the ground for sewage is not going to work either. Look at China they have earth quakes. They have been injecting for many years. Those gases will build.We are destroying the beauty of Baldwin County.
