Our third and final contestant in the Under Armor Senior Bowl Superstar competition is Anna Reid.

Anna is from Jackson, Alabama and is a Senior at Jackson High School.

Anna says she's enjoyed singing since all of her life and that it would be a thrill to sing the National Anthem at the January 24th Under Armor Senior Bowl.

Tuesday, mother of 5 Phyllis Ritchie sang her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, as did the group Only 4 on Wednesday.

On Friday, all three contestants will sing one more time on WKRG News at 9:00am. Then, it's your time to vote.

Polls open on the Senior Bowl website at 10:00am Friday and close at Midnight Sunday.

The votes will be tallied and the winner will be announced Monday Morning on News 5 at 9:00am.

All of the finalists are awesome.  Congrats to everyone on a job well done and much musical talent.  I am glad that so many people are still interested in the singing of Our National Anthem.

i wasn’t being rude. i just did not care for their style. they did a good job. i just did not like it. & i also said something good about them. did you miss that part?
your skin is going to have to be thicker than it is. if your son makes it big time people are going to say alot worse than, I didnt care for it.
i honestly don’t see how what i said is offensive. but as a mother in her 20s(yes i am an adult.lol.) if someone said something negative about my child i would set them straight also. I wish Only 4 all the best.

Glamblitz, Yes Ms. Reid and Ms. Ritchie are both talented and lovely.  I just don’t have anything bad to say about their performance.  They were awesome.  Of course, being the mom of one of “Only Four”, I am disappointed that anyone would post the only negative comment of this entire competition about my son’s group.  You are entitled to your opinion, I would just hope for a little more tact (assuming that you are an adult).

Anna Reid is my favorite. Phyllis Ritchie was also good. Only 4 seemed like a extremely respectful group of guys but, I didn’t care for their singing.

Rose.. yes, you are once again.. RIGHT. Nobody does it like Whitney. I keep her CD ready for those moments in the shower when I want to be reminded of the twilight’s last gleaming. Have a great day!

Some LHS fans are voting for you too!!! Great job and good luck!

Too funny BamaBob. He could use his OUT OF TUNE guitar too. “Same day..I’m on the highway” smile

Anna! Everyone in Jackson is ssoo PROUD of you!! Good Luck!! We will be voting like crazy people…luv you!!

Love,
Jordan W.

Anna Reid is a lovely girl, inside and out.  Very talented, very nice, good family, etc.  We wish her all the best!! VOTE ANNA REID!!

Awesome Anna! You did great! Don’t worry, the JHS Multimedia/WebDesign class will be voting for you tomorrow! smile
