Senator Pat Lindsey’s Funeral Plans

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Funeral services for seven-term state
Sen. W.H. "Pat" Lindsey have been scheduled for Wednesday.
Lindsey died Sunday morning of an apparent heart attack while on
a hunting trip in west Alabama. He was 72.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United
Methodist Church in Butler, with burial in Butler City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bumpers
Brown Service Funeral Home in Butler.
Legislative budget hearings scheduled for Wednesday have been
canceled so lawmakers can attend the funeral. Lindsey was a
Democrat from Butler in Choctaw County.
