Senator Jeff Sessions’ Mother Has Died

Alabama Mobile  Abbie Powe Sessions died Sunday in an assisted-living center in Mobile. She was 95.

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions' mother, Abbie Powe
Sessions, has died in an assisted-living center in Mobile. She was
95.
The senator said she died Sunday from natural causes.
A native of Branch in Choctaw County, she had lived in Hybart in
Monroe County before moving to Mobile.
Besides the senator, survivors include a sister, three
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her funeral is set for Wednesday morning at Camden United
Methodist Church in Camden, with burial in Bells Landing
Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Tinela.
