SEMMES, Alabama - Paul Hamman, the junkman from Semmes, will be featured on national TV tonight and Saturday. The cable network A&E will profile Hamman on the show called "Hoarders".
After watching some of our stories, the producers showed up at his property on Redstone Drive East. They shot footage and even helped clean up some of his mess.
A producer told us that Hamman had more junk that anyone else featured in the entire series. The finished product was so compelling, Hamman's story will be the season finale.
You can check out a preview of the show by clicking here.
The season finale is Monday, September 28th at 9pm central and again on Saturday at 3pm central.
Hamman was charged with criminal littering in 2008 and given multiple extensions by the judge. He spent 5 days in jail in January 2009. If his property isn't cleaned up by October 5th, he could serve 90 days.
