Saraland's search for a new superintendent is back to square one after negotiations with the school board's finalist broke down.

Board President Bill Silver told News 5 they had hoped to name a new superintendent at tonight's meeting.

The school system broke away from Mobile County last year. It's first superintendent, Dr. David Stiles, died from a heart attack in September.

News 5 has a crew at the school board meeting and will have more tonight on News 5 at 10:00.
