Satsuma Homicide

Homicide Pilot A man was found shot to death today at a truck stop in Satsuma.

Just before 9am this morning, the Satsuma Police Department received a call of a man unresponsive at the Pilot Truck Stop located on U.S. Highway 43 at I-65. Police say the man had been shot. The Satsuma Fire Department attempted life saving measures but was unsuccessful. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the Department of Forensic Sciences and the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office were notified.
At this time, the case is being investigated as a homicide. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Satsuma Police Department.
