Funeral arrangements are set for a Theodore sailor killed in Operation Enduring Freedom.

Petty Officer Third Class Matthew O'Bryant's body will be flown into Mobile Regional Airport Friday afternoon. Services are scheduled for Monday at Calvary Assembly of God on Three Notch Road in Mobile. A private visitation for family only is scheduled from 10am to 11am. A public visitation is scheduled from 11am to 1pm, and the funeral service will begin at 1pm. The burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.

O'Bryant, 22, was killed September 21 in a suicide truck bombing at the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, Pakistan. He was assigned to the Navy Information Operations Command in Fort Meade, Maryland and was deployed overseas less than one month before he was killed.

O'Bryant is a 2004 graduate of Theodore High School, where he excelled in the ROTC program. He is survived by his wife, Bridgette, who lives in Buckatuna, Mississippi and his parents, Barbara and Tommy O'Bryant, who still reside in Theodore.

O'Bryant will be buried with full military honors.
