A former manager from Mobile Rug and Shade says bad business drove the store into the ground.

The home decor shop closed last week and customer say their money went with it. Richard Taylor claims his boss stopped paying vendors and eventually stopped paying workers! To protect customers, Taylor says he would ask them to pay with a credit card so they could get their money back if their order didn't come in. "The way you describe that, it sounds like you were part of the problem. Well, you know when you have a job... sometimes he could solve the problem and sometimes he couldn't but it had just gotten worse and worse and worse and worse."

Earlier this week, the store's attorney told us that they closed because they were losing money and they do plan to file for bankruptcy. We couldn't reach owner Devin Schaff or his attorney for comment on this story.
