Information has been left out.  This story is too vague.  It sounds like the student wanted to cause some trouble for this teacher.  It doesn’t say the woman did anything other that pat her behind.  With todays standards I guess that would be harrassment but only in todays standards.  It would have been called being a “baby” when I was growing up.

So, if a teenager is not happy with her grade, or thinks the teacher is too hard on her for some reason, all she has to do is say the teacher grabbed her butt?  Then a judge signs a warrant and the cops swoop in on the woman?

All I said was that I hope this was investigated properly, which is not suggested by the article.  I have no idea what happened.

it looks like the child infirmed her parents, and went to the police. they took a statment and may or may not have interview any witnesses, there may have been any. based on the charge the police went to a judge who signed a warrent for her arrest. she tunred herself in. her name is run all around the newspaper and all over town. she will forver be known as not the teacher, not the nice lady from church, but that child molester. a year or too go by and the charges are never prosecuted or noll prossed, and off in the corner of a beauty shop on the edge of town that child molester is working. the unnamed 15 year ols fades off into obscurity somewhere, perhaps to have her hair cut one day by that child molester, and not even remember it.

All they have to do is add “After a thorough investigation….” at the beginning of the above sentence and it would alleviate many possible questions.
