Scary moments for a Citronelle family as a nearby creek spills into their house.

In the wee hours of the morning, the banks of Bennett Creek flood the house at the end of Robert Walker Road. Six people, including a two month old baby, are trapped inside. The water is waist deep in some parts. The Walker's call 9-1-1 and stand on chairs to wait for help.

A rescue boat manages to get the family to safety before dawn. The Walker's have no flood insurance and lost everything they own. Stay tuned for updates on News 5 and wkrg.com for ways you can donate to the family.
