Racist Graffiti At Mobile Park

West Mobile Racist Vandals hit the men’s room near the playground at Medal of Honor Park.

A restroom at a Mobile Park is littered with racist graffiti. The men's room near the playground at Medal of Honor Park was recently hit by vandals. Someone spray-painted offensive language on the sinks, floors, walls and urinal. The vandals even put spray painted the words "white" and a derogatory term for blacks on the floor next to different sinks. People coming by the park say it's extremely offensive.

“I thought now that we have a black president the country was coming together more so but incidents like that make you believe otherwise,” said Gene Coker after seeing the vandalism. We called the Parks and Recreation Department, but offices are closed on Sunday. No word on when it'll be cleaned up.

It took years and a lot of money for the city to build that restroom facility and it has been vandalized more than once. Some people are extremely hard to understand.

If the vandals are caught they should be made to work in that park all summer and wear signs telling the world that they are no good punks!

As long as there are thugs (of any skin color) their will be hatred such as this. I personally find it offensive and instead of placing a picture of it on the news, maybe those who reported it should have gotten out the old elbow grease and cleaned it up themselves.

We live in a world where we are so quick to ask someone what are you going to do about it and when, when in fact we ourselves could take a proactive step forward and do something about it right then.

Geez, don’t give them the satisfaction of knowing they made the news…..
