Principal Punched While Trying To Break Up Fight

Alabama Mobile Police say Mae Eanes Middle School principal Merrier Jackson was breaking up a fight between one of her students and two brothers when she was hit.

A Mobile teenager is accused of hitting a middle school principal.

Police say two brothers who attend Williamson High School showed up at Mae Eanes Middle School around 7:00 a.m. to settle a dispute with a 15-year-old Mae Eanes student. Principal Merrier Jackson was punched when she tried to break up the fight.

The 16-year-old who punched Jackson is charged with assault 3rd, harassment and criminal trespassing. His 17-year-old brother is charged with assault and criminal trespassing.

A spokesman for Mobile County Schools says the two brothers will also be suspended.

I think that we need to change the age at which we consider an individual an adult. Kid’s these days are making adult decisions and commiting adult drimes as young as age 15. All they get is a slap on the wrist. I say anyone commiting a crime of violence should be tried and punished as an adult regardless of age. Then we would take some of these young thugs off the street early before they become oder thugs and hurt more people.

Sometimes I wonder why I comment especially on an article like this,cause it is for sure the people reading it will not be the people committing this acts. But I have to ask this. What in the world is a fifteen year old doing attending a middle school.In eighth grade you should be thirteen. DUMB? (yes) Then the intellegent(not) criminals go to a PUBLIC school to chase down the dumb boy. (Dumber) Where are these boys parents? who bought them a car? Why aren’t they at school? Who’s your daddy now?Sorry just on a rant. This is sickening.

Each day you wonder how much dumber these wannabe thugs can get. From shooting their own hand, taking a gun to school in their backpack, running from police in their clown car and killing people…

What kind of “dispute” could these mid-teen thuggies have to warrant going after a 15 year old at a middle school, then beating on a principal.

I attended Mae Eanes the first year it opened;
I am not a racist; but Mobile was segregated
at that time of history. The only violence
that I remember was the first day of school
the coaches knocked a few rowdy boys around
and believe me the boys behaved the rest of the
school year. Those days are gone with the
wind.

AS usual same old story always takes two or more to get one. And then they have to make it worse by striking a woman, real manly men these to are. Put them away where they belong and their mentality will fit in.
