 3 50 Project  A handful of Mobile businesses have signed on to the 3/50 Project.  The website promotes local shopping.

MOBILE, Alabama - The effort is simple. People are encouraged to think of three local and independent businesses they couldn’t live without. The goal is to spend at least $50 a month at these places. It is part of The 3/50 Project which extols the virtues of local shopping. You can check out my full story here.
