With less than two weeks until election day, volunteers are busy preparing the polls.
Mobile County Election officials held a poll worker certification class at the Saraland Civic Center tonight.
Although they expect a record turn out, they've scaled back the number of volunteers at each of their 99 voting precincts.
Probate Court Judge Don Davis says the voting machines are more efficient this time around.
Still, he says voters should pack some patience.
"They need to be prepared, have their indentification in hand, but be patient. If they're there by seven pm in the evening, in line to vote.. they will be permitted to vote," said Davis.
Friday, October 24th, is the last day to register to vote here in Alabama.
