rosepetal I wish there was a way.  I live in an almost 1100sf home and my power bill is always $190 to $280 except in the winter it runs about $120.  A few months ago I got my bill and it was nearly $400 I blew a gasket and called and naturally they misread my meter.  I told them that if they would actually come by instead of guessing there would not be any problems.

alabama power gets a rate increase everytime people use more electricity. they never own up to a mistake. there must be some way to appeal this.

So I guess when the cost of fuel starts dropping then we won’t get a rate decrease.  This is ridiculous, how these people keep praying on the people who live from week to week and have problems making ends meet as it is.  Wonder why all these foreclosures are happening.

alabama power deserves no raise.  this ticks me off. when most people are going without just to fill up these days and try to make a mortgage payment alabama power wants to stick it to them more.

RIDICULOUS! Here we go again…fattening the wallets and padding the lavish lifestyle of these C.E.O.‘s. How about Alabama Power trimming the fat from some of these outrageous C.E.O. salaries first…that alone should be enough to more than sufficiently cover the cost of rising fuel costs for them.
