dougstech,
How can you be so insensitive and say the things you are saying? Obviously you didn’t know Matt. If you did you would know that he would never take his own life! He loved life and lived it to the fullest! He loved God, his friends and his family! He would never purposely do this to himself or anyone! He knew how to swim. He has been around pools his whole life! How was he supposed to know that he was about to go swim in 45ft deep water with rough currents? Not everyone brings a depth reader with them when they go swim! You need to be more considerate to what his mother is going through! You don’t have to go into her house and find her laying on Matt’s bed with his picture and guitar in her arms!Your not the one who has to bury a person who you love and care so much about! Your not the one who has to walk down the halls of D.H.S and stop and think to yourself Matt should be here! Your not the one who has to graduate a know that your friend’s name should be called next but won’t! NOT because his parents didn’t teach him to be an EXPERT swimmer, just because one day of fun with friends turned out to be a day of disaster! Matt was an amazing person who has a wonderful sense of humor, a great smile and a way of brighting up your day! He will forever be in my heart as the rest of the students and teachers that had the privilege to know him. My prayers go out to everyone who is having to deal with this tragedy! Matt will never be forgotten!
R.I.P Matt Studt. -hnc

Doug you are being absolutely horrible.  There are people grieving and all your doing is igniting a fire.  People are mourning please try to be considerate.  This is no ones fault.  This was God’s will.  God will come for you at any time so get ready!!

thugstech, when your done poking at the high school kids there are a few kittens that need to be stepped on and an old lady to shove down the stairs. Your work is never done.

Thanks for using my full name. Thats what I make it public on my site for. wink

Doug Roberts, you are utterly wretched. The conversation is over now so go entertain yourself elsewhere. God be with you!

And once again, Rest happily In Peace Matthew Studt! We all love you and will miss you deeply! To Matt’s family, We are thinking of you, Praying for you, and wiling to do anything for you.

-Chad DHS.

Now look who is being atatcked. I dont care if you taught him, or knew him, or went to school with him or whatever. These are all unverified claims. I am commenting on what I see above ONLY. It is a trusted and very credible news source, unlike people who post information here with no credibility.

If this person was foolish enough to go swimming in a 45 foot deep river with no parental supervision or lifeguard, it is only his fault. An investigation should be launched on the parents, because they should have known better than to let their child do such foolishness that got him killed.

Since so many here seem to have loved him so much, they should take note of the situation and try to prevent it from happening again. If they don’t, we will be seeing another news article about a dead person that was found in a river. But, instead they come here and attack other regular commenters.

We might see more news out of Daphne, because it appears that some are not learning from their friend’s mistakes.

Dear daphnehightrojans,

I am so excited to see how well you articulate yourself.  I totally know what you are going through…Do not let someone, especially online, “GET YOUR GOAT!”  You love Matt living and through death.  It is evident.  Often when you ignore those that have nothing but insults and time on their hands, you come out to be the winner.  Please do that.  Getting on some news cite and dogging some person who has no life will not get you any where.  Would Matt want you to do that?  No.  He would just laugh under his breath, and probably say…“idiot.”

I know that you are totally upset, and you have every right to be!  But, I hope that you can expend your energy toward Matt’s after life by praying.  If you’re not a prayer…then be there for his momma.  She’s all alone.  She, my beautiful child, is who is devasted.

Go Daphne Trojans Class of 2010!  Go Matt Studt…play your guitar, baby!  I am proud of you!

Most Lovingly,

Susan!

Dear Dougstech,

Obviously, you are a very literate person who has an aweful lot of time on your hands.  I was Matt’s teacher.  I know that he could swim.  He wasn’t the best swimmer, but he could swim.  Who’s to say that he wasn’t bit by a snake?  Who’s to say that the “undertoad” (as I also tell my 3 year old son) didn’t get him under and trap him?  I believe at one time you were at least 17 years old and made very many mistakes.  If you didn’t, then God must have blessed you in more ways than I can imagine.

I taught Matt for more than 2 months.  He was very smart.  One of my students WAS on the scene, and his sister works for WKRG NewsCenter 5.  This may be the Daphne Trojan that you are talking to…I hope that you are at least under age, for you are picking on someone who seems to be on your maturity level.

Since you are so interested in childhood tragic deaths, why don’t you go and post on the young girl who lost her life last Sunday due to and ATV accident(in Fairhope)?

BTW, I teach English, and I am disleksic.  Heck, I don’t even know how to spell it.  However, I have found a few grammatical errors in your own postings.  So, before you do knocking on some kid (probably one of mine), find something better to do.  Maybe a news report of NOT- someone’s death.  You can cyber bully that person, instead of someone who is not going to be graduating with a fellow classmate.

Then report me.

Defending our deceased friend is not off topic. Your hateful comments have no place here. I’m sorry I’m not an avid hater on the threads on WKRG, but I try to maintain some sort of social life.

Matt was a good person, and you know absolutely nothing about him. If you are ignorant enough to believe everything you hear on the news, i.e. “he cannot swim”, you should probably join us back at high school.

All I ask is that before being a critic about something as serious as human life, you consider the feelings of the friends and family members who will read this thread. The last thing a family torn apart by the loss of a loved one needs is someone who has nothing good to say. But apparently your mother never taught you that if you have nothing good to say, don’t say anything at all.

As I said, all of our condolences go out to his family members, as I cannot imagine what they are going through. We all loved Matt, and it is a great loss to us as well. Our prayers are with you.

Regards,
Chris Jones. Rest in Peace, Matthew.

daphnehightrojans, how do you know what this thread is for? You joined YESTERDAY.

Using your account by multiple persons is against this site’s TOS also. So, before you try to tell me what this thread is for, I suggest you read the Web Site Terms And Conditions and fill yourself in.

I am not interested in hearing your religious preaching either, as it has nothing to do with this topic.

As far as “pick at the intelligence of high school students”, users of this site must be at least 13. I expect any 13 year old to know proper grammar. Their grammer use represents them, and easily disqualifies any comment they leave when they use the grammer that I have seen.

If you feel like sending me another personal message, feel free to use the “Private Message” button, because your posts are getting very off-topic.

Again, if someone who [reportedly] cannot swim gets in the water and drowns, resources are taken up that could otherwise be put to better use. He should not have been swimming there in the first place. If I were choosing a place to swim, I would have chosen wiser and gone to a pool with a lifeguard.

Maybe this will be a lesson to all these other kids who seemed to love their friend so much.
