SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) - An official on the Caribbean island
of Aruba says a private investigator searching for clues that could
help solve the mystery of a missing Alabama teen is preparing to
wrap up his latest search.
Ruben Croes, president of the Aruba Search and Rescue
Foundation, says U.S. investigator Fred Golba will end his probe of
the garbage-strewn retention pond on Tuesday in the search for
Natalee Holloway.
A team of volunteers, including Croes and his son, have helped
the tracker dog specialist from Chicopee, Massachusetts, probe the
muddy bottom of the 250-square-meter pond since last week.
Holloway, from Mountain Brook, Alabama, was 18 when she was last
seen leaving a bar in the Aruban capital on the final night of a
high school graduation trip. No trace of her has been found despite
extensive searches.

I agree i think she is long gone.  The dad i think ha alot to do with it. The mom lost her husband because she was so obsessed with finding her daughter. I don’t think there will ever be closure atleast the dad tried one more time. Sad Sad.

I agree cmb1, this family needs closure. However, I have been following this case from the begining and have done a lot of research. My conclusion is that this child was taken a great distance out into the ocean amid the currents. I won’t go into how she was “disposed” of, but I doubt if her body will ever be recovered, which is what Jorans father, who is a judge, knows will keep his son out of prison. Jorans father also had a much bigger role in her disappearance than the media has released, but that is another story. If you piece the events together in chronological order, the story unfolds into an obvious conclusion. I do feel for this childs mother as you can see the absolute torment in her eyes even now.

i would not be surprised if she was still alive. she is a pretty girl and could have been sold into the slave trade. the beth holloway story is coming on tv. in april.

I sure hope they find her body so her family can get closure. But after all this time would the body discompose(?)in water?
