The Foley Police Department is investigating a suspicious death of a woman at 408 West Section Avenue, Foley Alabama. Chief Davis Wilson with the Foley Police Department says Monday afternoon the department received a call to check on a woman at that recidence, which police have since learned is frequented by a lot of people . Wilson says when they arrived they found a woman dead. As of late Monday night Foley Police have not determined the death to be a homicide. They say the case is an on-going investigation and are awaiting the results of an autopsy. Late Monday night crime scene tape remained up around the property and an officer remained at the scene.
The Foley Police Department will hold a news conference in the morning to inform the media and public of what they have learned so far.
