Police Shoot & Kill Bank Robbery Suspect After Chase

Alabama Mobile Mobile police say the suspect robbed the RBC on Old Shell Road around 3:00 p.m. and then lead police on a chase that ended in gunfire at Three Notch and Hwy 90 in Tillmans Corner.

Mobile police and the Mobile County District Attorney's Office are investigating a deadly shooting involving a police officer.

According to police, a suspect robbed the RBC at 4357 Old Shell Road around 3:00 p.m. Police chased the suspect. During the chase, the suspect threw money out the window.

The chase ended at Three Notch and Hwy 90 in Tillmans Corner. The suspect shot at police, hitting the hood of a patrol car. A bullet went into the Kidz Korner Child Care. No one was hit. Police fired back, killing the suspect.

My child is at the daycare down the street. It would be nice to know that someone or some notification can be given out to advise schools and daycares what is going on in the area and advise of a dangerous situation!

I was the guy in the van that was sideswiped. He also hit another person at the intersection of Hillcrest and Grelot, where I got hit. While yes I applaud the police for doing what they had to do, 13 police cars chased this guy. Did one stop to see how the lady in the other car was? They did not. Makes you wonder. I agree about the weird feeling, that you saw this guy in the last moments of his life just thank God he did not hurt anyone any worse than a sore neck.
