MOBILE, Alabama - Mobile Police are investigating a murder. A man was found inside a car at the corner of Persimmon and Live Oak Streets around 9:30 Saturday night. He had been shot multiple times. Police were originally called to the scene to investigate a traffic accident but when they got there they realized there was more to the story. The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Anthony Encarnacion. He was taken to Mobile Infirmary where he was pronounced dead. Police have not made an arrest in the case yet.

Down! does that mean DOWN TOWN?
The more lenient a place or person is,the more trouble you will have! How could it be otherwise?

You know I thought New Orleans, LA and Jackson, MS were bad but I tell you what, everyday when I read the news in Mobile it is about another murder….

Does anybody have a running count of how many murders there have been in Mobile so far this year?

Another station reports that he was shot twice, apparently tried to drive himself to the hospital before he hit another car. That tells me a lot…jmo, but this kind of thing isn’t “random.” Personally, those are the numbers that I am concerned with. Not which gang banger or drug dealer offed another,or who got shot/stabbed over a bad card game.Keeping it in that perspective,it is a whole different picture.

The local news media stopped reporting *all* of the news stories immediately after Sam Jones did his crime-reduction production/announcement about his figures showing that crime is supposedly down in Mobile. I guess none of the news providers want to make the mayor look bad, so they do not report all of the local news anymore. Everyone that lives in and around Mobile know that crime is bad and getting worse by the day, not drying up and going away like some local leaders would lead you to think.  Mobile’s actual crime rates are extremely bad, and I guess that the mayor, and city council have their blinders on and turn a blind eye to the actual numbers. Notice to the citizens of Mobile - WATCH YOUR BACKS!!!!! JMO

Even if they made an arrest and prosecutors did there thing JUDGES let the out .... and have been for years…. in exchange for paddleing or sex

Remember…crime is DOWN in Mobile, folks.
