Mobile Police arrested 37 year old George Ralph Leverette just after six o'clock last night in Semmes.Police say he broke into a home on Janice Drive Tuesday.
According to authorities he was posing as a yard worker in the Morris Hill subdivision in Semmes."He would go by there and solicit business which he actually wasn't interested in the business, but he was checking to see when people were home, he was watching them to see when they were home. Really he was a predator of the neighborhood,"Said Christopher Levy with Mobile Police Department.
Mobile Police say this is a common ploy thieves use when they are trying to find out if anyone is home.
George Ralph Leverette is being held in Metro Jail. He is facing felony charges for burglary and unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle.
