Prichard police have arrested a 17-year-old boy they say robbed a CVS pharmacist as he arrived for work.

The pharmacist had just walked in the door of the CVS at 3445 St. Stephens Road Tuesday morning when police say the teenager walked up behind him and grabbed his bag. After a brief struggle, the teenager took off with the bag.

Police searched the area and found the teenager hiding in a closet at the St. Stephens Wood Apartment Complex.

The 17-year-old is being held at the Strickland Youth Center on robbery charges.
