The Mobile County animal shelter is facing some tough overcrowding issues. This Saturday, they are having an adoption event to try to make some room. The adoption is from10am-2:30pm at the shelter at 7665 Howell's Ferry Road. Animals who have lived at the shelter for more than 30 days are free and the rest are only $25. That cost includes shots. Help these furry friends find a home!

I would also like to see a report on how many pets were able to be placed after this event.

If you have ever thought of adopting a puppy or older dog, please check out this adoption event.  I have always had shelties and love and understand the breed, but 2.5 years ago, someone dumped a 5 week old border collie mix puppy in my yard and she won my heart.  My sheltie readily took in his new sister and they are inseparable.
Dogs bring such love into your life.  Your new best friend is waiting patiently for his new forever home.  Please check out this event and the reduced prices. Woof!
