Person Of Interest In Missing Woman Case

Alabama Missing Bayou La Batre investigators say they want to question a man about the disappearance of Tammy Stokes.

Tammy Stokes has been missing since June 1st. Bayou La Batre police have named a "person of interest" in the case. Cpl. Jason Edwards tells News 5 police want to question Christopher Lashon Howard. According to investigators, Howard was a known acquaintance of Tammy Stokes, and they believe he was the last person to have contact with her on the day she disappeared. Cpl. Edwards says the last known address for Howard is on Jones Road in Theodore. Police ask anyone with information on Howard's whereabouts to call 251.824.2757.
