If you plan to mail your holiday gifts this season, then you better pack your patience.
According to U.S. Postal officials this week is supposed to be the busiest week this year.
Today, people packed post offices across Mobile for the busiest mailing day.
Officials anticipate another rush Wednesday for the busiest delivery day.

A Spokeswoman for the U.S. Postal Service tells News Five the sooner you ship, the better.
"The longer you wait just the more money it will cost you. We can get it there next day Express mail, it just costs a lot more. Right now I'd recommend people go ahead and start mailing Priority mail, we can get anywhere Priority mail that you're mailing to,"Said Fonda Gantt with the U.S.P.S.

Postal officials say tomorrow is the last day to send your gifts by Ground. The deadline to send them Priority mail is the 20th. Your last chance to send them Express mail is the 23rd.
