One man is in custody and another is at the USA Medical Center following an early morning stabbing in Saraland.According to Saraland Police, 37-year old William Odel Wood, II of Fairhope stabbed 24-year old Thomas Bradley Nelson of Satsuma during a drug deal in Wood's car.
Police say Nelson ran into a house on 1st Avenue, followed by Wood, who reportedly kicked in a door and threatened to burn the house down.
Officers found Nelson in a bedroom with several stab wounds around 3:00am.
Wood, meanwhile, was pulled over by Saraland officers who noticed him speeding through the city.
They discovered later that he was a suspect in the stabbing.
Wood is charged with attempted murder and burglary.
