for a man charged with capital murder in the death of a young woman
killed in Daphne last month.
The defense requested bond for Troy MacDonald during a hearing
on Wednesday, but the judge refused. A preliminary hearing will be
held in January.
The 43-year-old Daphne man faces a possible death penalty if
convicted in the slaying of 21-year-old Brianna Parish. Authorities
say she was found dead two days after disappearing from a bar in
November.
Authorities named MacDonald a person of interest in the case
shortly after the slaying, and police arrested him on Monday.
