News 5 has learned Marcus Schrenker downed a punch of pills containing acetaminophen to this his blood before his failed suicide attempt. Doctors have now decided they want to keep Schrenker at a Tallahassee hospital for observation through the weekend.

Schrenker, who is accused of trying to fake is own death, was originally supposed to be released Thursday until he suffered a medical set back.

When he is finally released early next week, Schrenker will be transported to Pensacola for a court appearance on federal charges of intentionally crashing his plane and making a phony distress call.
