A Mobile man is facing half a dozen drug and weapons charges after investigators raided his apartment off Old Pascagoula Road.

Richard Burroughs, 56, was arrested early Friday morning. Police say he was selling cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine and Loratab pills. Investigators also found a stash of guns, knives and brass knuckles.

"Cops lined from here all the way around to the corner," said James Burroughs, the suspect's son. "I stay out of his business. That's the way my family always worked," he said.

Police say the street value of the drugs found in Burroughs' apartment totalled nearly $6500. He was released from jail on a $24,000 bond.
