Mystery Surrounds Discovery Of Body

Alabama Mobile Human remains are found in the backyard of a home.

Plenty of questions, but still few answers about a body found in the backyard of a home in Mobile Tuesday.
The body was discovered in the 2400 Block of Vaughan Drive North.
Mobile County District Attorney John Tyson said, "It appears we got a grave in the backyard here."
Police said they got a call about 8 am of a body buried at the home.
Tyson said, "The Mobile Police Department, with some assistance, is excavating a body in the backyard here."
Mobile Police Deputy Chief James Barber said, "It's a slow painstaking process, so that's what we're doIng now before they can completely excavate the area."
Police said the excavation turned up human remains.
Tyson said, "We're treating it as a homicide. We believe that it is a homicide. We do have a person of interest under our control."
For much of the day, people in the neighborhood were wondering what investigators were doing.
Pamela Vise said, "We've seen them with their cases and their stuff out there, pulling out stuff from their bags and everything. Pretty much all we see is the hole dug. They got about a six or seven foot hole dug back there."
Other people in the neighborhood said a man and woman live at the home.
Joe McCord said, "I knew both these people who live here. They were always nice, always."
Tyson said authorities are not releasing the identity of the person who's body was found until relatives are notified.

Hey Carl! Watch the humorous remarks. Apparently a whole group of psychiatrist and psychiatric nurses are reading these comments and making diagnostic determinations as to ones mental health. If they don’t like your jokes, it could be Searcy for sure!

Watching the different reports is a little confusing.One says a body and another says the remains and a short video clip looks to show bones and yet they seem to know the identity of the remains or body.I guess time will tell.

I guess the use of archaeologist just makes it sound like they had discovered some very old murder.

Wonder who tipped them off about the grave and I wonder who is missing from that area.

I saw Tyson talking about it on the news bob. He said not much he could say about it today, but would update as soon as the facts were a little more known. They did say body not remains or bones
