SPANISH FORT, Alabama - People are rocking on the causeway on 9/12/09 for a good cause. The second annual Deep South Music Festival is underway right now at Oysterella's. It boasts twenty acts for 20 bucks. The festival raises money for the Boy's and Girls Club and their "Guitars not Guns" program. Organizers say they've been doing this as a tribute to the late Mobile musician Bo Roberts.

“When he died he left a big piano-shaped hole in the world he was a big music influence in this area good friend of all of ours,” says Festival Co-Owner David Sisco. He says last year they were able to raise $1,500 dollars. The festival should be rocking through midnight tonight.
