Alabama Mobile  BREAKING NEWS Mobile police made an arrest in the murder of a college student/father of two home for the holidays.

5:25 p.m.
- Mobile police have identified the victim as 23-year-old Chad Land, a college student/father of two home for the holidays.
- 19-year-old Fred Quinnie turned himself into police. He's charged him with murder, attempted murder and robbery.

Mobile police are investigating a deadly shooting in Midtown.

According to police, two men were shot just after 9:00 Thursday night in the 600 block of Rickarby Street. One of the victims died at the scene. The other was rushed to USA Medical Center where he was treated and released.

Police have not released any names but District Attorney John Tyson tells News 5 the man who died was a graduate of Williamson High School.
