Murder Suspect In Custody

Murder Shooting Prichard Police have arrested a man that they say shot and killed a man on Seminary Street.

Prichard Police is investigating a pair of shootings, including a murder.

Demetrius Welch is charged with murder and assault following a shooting on Seminary Street - one man was killed and another wounded. Welch was arrested at the hospital where he was being treated for gunshot wounds to his hand and hip.

Investigators say the shooting was the result of an on-going argument and that alcohol may have played a factor.

I think that wgarey was questioning the comment that linda made about, ” Same old story. Black. Young. In trouble,”. By asking the question, ” Young whites aren’t committing crimes?”, wgarey was insinuating that young whites are committing crimes just as the youth of the black community.

wgarey that is so not true.. Young white commit crimes all the time, you always hear of some white teenager shooting up schools and killing family members..

Young whites do commit crimes, it doesn’t take a high IQ to recognize that statistic, but young blacks are killing off their own race at an alarming rate. Why is the black community not responding to these deaths, there should be an all out campaign among our leaders in this community to stop or at least slow it down.
