SPANISH FORT, Ala. (AP) - Officials say a Daphne business ownerhas died in a motorcycle accident on the Causeway.
Baldwin County Coroner Jim Small said Friday that 44-year-old
Lawrence Guy Adams of Spanish Fort died after his Harley-Davidson
ran off the road near Ed's Seafood Shed Thursday.
Adams owned 60 Minute Cleaners on U.S. 90 in Daphne. He was
going east on U.S. 98 when the crash took place. Small said no
passenger was on the motorcycle, and no other vehicle was involved
in the accident.
Spanish Fort Police Chief David Edgar said the cause of the
wreck had not been determined, but speed or alcohol did not appear
to have contributed.
