Alabama Arrested Fairhope mother says she watched her daughter stab her son in the heart

Deborah Jean Giles says she was inside a mobile home on Ingleside Drive in Fairhope Monday morning when her daughter grabbed a knife and stabbed her son in the heart.

"My baby is gone," says Giles. "I don't have him anymore. He was a God-fearing person, he got along with everyone, he had so many friends."

Giles says her son, 21-year old Mustafa McMillan died on the scene. She says her daughter, Maleya McMillan was arrested.

"Pray for me. He was a good kid, good worker, everybody loved him."

Investigators refused to talk to the media about what happened but witnesses and neigbhors tell News 5 McMillan liked to play video games and says the siblings were arguing over a Play-station game.

Why didn’t the mother stop her? I think there needs to be some investigation into this. I hope this girl gets all that is coming to her.

I am so very sorry for this womans loss BUT, BUT… did yall watch the video? The woman did not shed a tear nor appear to be too shaken up over witnessing the death of her son. I would have been devastated and unable to even put together any kind of sensible sentence. Something just seems a little off here to me. Very strange I tell ya, very strange.

Im glad to hear you know the family,be supportive of the mother she really needs it now more than ever,It would be hard for me as a father to find a way to forgive my child from taking another ones life let alone my son,not sure how Id handle this and hope I never have to pass that point in my life

Know that This Young Women is a Mother Herself and by Know means should she think that it was something that needed to be done when she KILLED her BROTHER. Mom Jean has to Bury Her Baby Boy and look into the Face of His KILLER which is Her DAUGHTER who is Grown and made a decision and followed through with it. She made the Bed now She and only HER must lay down in it!!! Maleya Gets NO Sympathy from me. This Family I know rather WELL!

tears0 if she doesnt support the her daughter to some degree then shes lost two children,We offten dont agree with what our children do but we support them,This will be a hard pill to digest for the mother

WOW!! I am soooo ashamed!! The sister whether she’s an adult or not should be convicted at the highest level. I feel so bad for the mother. It makes you wonder if she’s going to support her daughter through this.
