Mobile police arrested a woman Tuesday in connection with the death of her infant son.

James Langley, Jr. died November 1st at USA Medical Center. His mother, 31 year old Angela Garcia, brought him to the hospital claiming he was not breathing when she woke up to check on him.

According to the autopsy, Langley died from a Methadone overdose. Numerous toxicology tests showed this was not the first time Langley had been exposed to the pain killer.

Police arrested Garcia Tuesday afternoon and charged her with Chemical Endangerment of Exposing a Child to an Environment in which Controlled Substances are Produced or Distributed.

there to many and there are legal methadone clinic that are killing our young people, i wish people who protest would go to these clinic and see the legal killing machine at work…..one day ill figure out a way to legal stop this. i dont know how to fix it,its sad and scarey. they claim this helps to get them off drugs but it dosent it makes it worst, they end up asparating and die, weve lost alot of young people to all of this. i dont think the law can do anything about this, and they know about all the rest so about going and reporting?????????????????????????????

This is one law that pleases me to see in place.  It’s plain and simple that if anyone places a child in danger by exposing them to drugs will be held accountable.  Unfortunately for this child he was overexposed for a while to the drugs and addicts that ultimately killed him. Anyone with knowledge of a child being exposed to these types of conditions should be held accountable and charged as an accessory to murder.
I just wish more people would get passed that “Don’t be a snitch” or “It’s none of my business” mentality and report anyone and everyone they know or suspect of dealing or doing illegal drugs.
Crime Stoppers is a great source for anonymous reporting in order to save lives.

What are you rambling about Kx?  I was just commenting on the fact taht some people think our troops are a waste of money and they dont do much for the pay, and making statements about people that cant defend themselves on here is bad.  You can take that however you want but I would suggest counceling for you, to many liberal professers have been in your mind.

That’s not what this is about…and please learn to read. I reiterated several times that they were not lazy and they worked very hard for their paychecks. You just keep twisting everything I say and taking it out of context. I’m hitting “Ignore Member” now, so don’t waste your time typing out a response, unless it’s just to make yourself feel better, because I will not see it.

Not as bad as callin service members murders or lazy check collectors.

Vancleave, this isn’t a police blotter…it’s not even the gossip column…If you want to drag possibly innocent people’s names through the mud, go to an actual police station and file a report. Otherwise, quit slandering people, because it’s a pretty big deal to point fingers and call someone a murderer.

someone should check out the father andrew langley and his father terry langley, seem like they would be suspects? you would think…....................................

Geezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It is not a suprise when youve heard that the boyfriend and his father are known!drug dealers, meth heads, and methadone attics, and meth makers and possible murder suspects in jackson county ms.

mustuknow, you said it for me!
