The Mobile County Health Department will begin spraying for mosquitos on Monday, May 4.

Spraying will primarily be done from 6-11 p.m. As a precaution, residents are asked not to approach a spray truck while it is operating.

People involved in beekeeping activities and those who are allergic to insecticides used for mosquito control should notify the Health Department’s Vector Control Division by calling 215.690.8124.

How to avoid getting ‘bugged’ by mosquitoes
- Empty all water from old tires, cans, jars, buckets, drums, plastic wading pools, toys, and other containers
- Limit outdoor activities at dusk and dawn.
- Use mosquito repellent on exposed areas
- Wear long sleeves/pants, light-colored clothing and a har/cap

Saints, thanks for the link.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t tell folks “when” they’ll be sprayed.

Knowing this (in advance) would be helpful to those who are bothered by it, are planning outdoor activities, or have susceptible pets/plants outdoors.

It would be helpful had the reporter included the spraying schedule with this article.

Basic reporting should include the who, what, when, where, why, etc.
