Mom Rushes Daughter To Hospital, Leaves Stove On

Alabama Daphne  The Daphne Fire Department says a woman was cooking when her child got peanut butter out of the pantry and had an allergic reaction. She forgot to turn off the stove before she left for the hospital.

A house on Donna Circle in Daphne's Lake Forest subdivision burned down while the family that lived there was at the hospital.

Daphne firefighters say a mother was cooking around 12 noon when her child got peanut butter out of the pantry and had an allergic reaction. She forgot to turn off the stove before she left for the hospital.

The two story house is a total loss. One firefighter was taken to Thomas Hospital with heat/smoke related injuries.
