MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Eight members of a Mobile family are theowners of a new house, courtesy of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home
Edition."
The Gaudet family were selected because of their extensive
involvement in community projects that includes work at the Easter
Seals, teaching free parenting classes with an emphasis on special
needs children and teaching adult literacy programs.
Producers said Stephen and Lydia Gaudet have six boys, ages 22
to 9. Their youngest son, Peter has down's syndrome.
The family's small house was battered by Hurricane Katrina and
needed major repairs.
The house will be featured on the show Sunday night. "Extreme
Makeover: Home Edition" airs at 7 p.m.
