Dozens of principals at area schools may soon be looking for jobs.

The Mobile County School District has released a list of 36 principals who could get a pink slip if the economic climate doesn't improve.

I know how to fix this… get rid of Nichols, and the rest of the school board. get rid of all the asst. principals and everyone else not doing anything. this is ridiculous how some people can sit behind a desk and not do anything to earn a paycheck! wake up nichols, get off your pay that you don’t deserve. oh and my daughter attend allentown and i happen to love ms. cleveland. her assist. is ms shaw- fire her!

Of course, no mention of all the deadwood around the school system. There are people there that do nothing and still collect a paycheck. Many could retire, but don’t and can’t be fired. Gotta love tenure and unions!!!!!!!!!!!PS, I’m not talking teachers either!

Fear, fear, and more fear.  Will it ever end?  God bless our teachers!  I appreciate each of you.  On behalf of parents everywhere, I want to apologize to all of you for the way you’ve been treated.  You deserve better.
