Deputy Chief James Barber says the Mobile County Sheriff's Office arrested Timothy Hoover on Friday.
Barber tells News 5 that Hoover is still on the force, but is restricted to desk duty while the Sheriff's Office conducts its investigation. The Mobile Police Department is also conducting an internal investigation.
