MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - A man has pleaded guilty to murder in the2007 shooting death a Bosnian immigrant at the victim's car
dealership job in Mobile.
Authorities say 24-year-old Alfonza Boykin II of Mobile pleaded
guilty Monday and faces a possible life sentence on April 23 for
the slaying of 43-year-old Drazen Nikolic, who was shot five times.
Assistant District Attorney Ashley Rich says the motive in the
November 2007 shooting was never made clear. Boykin, a naturalized
U.S. citizen, was slain at Liberty Auto Sales. Rich says an
investigation found nothing had been taken from the business.
Nikolic left most of his family behind in Bosnia and married a
woman he met in Mobile a decade before the shooting, officials
said.
