The Mobile County District Attorney's office says Carl Miller was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana and driving 90-100 mph when he hit a tree in Grand Bay killing his two cousins.

The accident happened about 7:30 p.m. Friday on Ramsey Road. 17-year-old Billy Miller and 20-year-old Joseph Miller, both of Mobile, were killed in the crash.

Miller, who left the scene of the accident, is charged with two counts of murder. He will be in court Tuesday for a bond hearing.

I agree with all of these comments and I have been in love Joseph since I was in the seventh grade I just graduated high school. We have a beautiful little girl together. That loves her daddy very much and will miss him more than any body. He is the love of my life and I think carl miller deserves to be deceased instead of B.J and Joe. Thank you all for bein concerned. Carl Miller is the devil him self he took my love away from me and my daughter. Joe loved his very girl and me very much and was a remarkable person although he never made the smartest decisions he would have gave to any body and would have done any thing for any body. I think it is kind of a weird situation seeing that just a couple weeks ago joe made the statement that carl has no conscious and seeing that he saw his two younger cousins laying there deceased and ran then tried to put the blame on that other guy…. Joe had it right when he made that comment. Joe will always be loved and missed.

Should be 3 counts of murder now. as i herd the 3rd passenger lost his life. as i hear were just sending this guy back home.. i hope carl really gets what he deserves and more. this guy is a useless waste of life and Nothing our “Awsome” justice system will do this guy will NEVER repay the value of the lifes lost.

R.I.P guys..

people just never stop to think about the consequences of things until someone dies.

Alcohol + Driving = Accident which is premeditated murder! As anyone that drinks and drives knows the consequence. These kids never knew what was to come, all they thought was “good time”, with a grown man whom they trusted, a grown man who knew they were vulnerable! Yes, not only murder, but murder in the first degree.

I agree. He needs to get Alexandra Martin’s lawyer.

Once again it’s not what you know it’s who you b…....

I guess if you are a little older, you are charged with “murder” when you are driving fast and kill someone.  If you are younger you just get a slap on the wrist.

No, he’s no kin to me and I don’t even know him, but my nephew did go to school with the 17 year old.

I know he supposedly was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, but he took two lives and should face murder charges, but again I do not see the jutice in letting someone younger get away with murder after two offenses of speeding and gets no time at all.

I don’t care if they were between the ages of 12 and 91, if they caused and accident that resulted in death, they should both get the same punishment and that should be some jail time.

In case, I didn’t make any of this clear, I’m all for putting someone behind bars when they kill someone in an accident because of carelessness/drinking/drugs or just plain stupidity.
