Mobile City Councilman’s Wife Dies

Alabama Mobile  Betty Copeland passed away Monday night in her sleep. Her husband Reggie has been a city councilman since 1985.

The wife of long time Mobile City Councilman Reggie Copeland has died.

A city spokesperson says Betty Copeland passed away Monday night in her sleep. She and Reggie had been married for 58 years.

Betty is survived by her husband Reggie, four sons (Reggie Jr., Randy, Riley, Russ), 1 daughter (Gayle Phillips) and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
